I taught weather classes and asked two questions, first, how many would like to see the end of smog, particulate matter in the air, and all hands go up. Second, how many would like to see the end of the biggest greenhouse gas? All hands again. I informed them the biggest greenhouse gas is moisture, clouds and stuff like that which act as a blanket keeping heat in, as we do when in bed, then snow and rain falls because moisture condenses only on particulate matter. Those raising their hands want a bone dry planet. So, the greens tell me they do not bother to measure moisture, because that is naturally occuring in spite of it being the biggest contributor.

Thanks for the comment, Clay.  It would be a shame if we ruined our economy based on a passing fad.  It's always great to hear from someone who has been in the trenches and knows the subject well.
